• White Noise (sample): A baby reflex that is becoming more known is the calming effect of white noise. It has been discovered that the fluid noise in the womb sounds similar to a vacuum cleaner at twice its volume. When white noise is played/sounded just louder than the cry volume of a baby it often stops them from crying, putting them in a near lethargic state (medicinenet.com article - here ).
